This Privacy Policy explains how DailyEdge AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in a transparent and secure manner, in compliance with Google Play Store and Apple App Store policies.
Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our services. This includes:
- Personal Information: When you create an account, we may collect your username, email address, age, and other profile details you choose to provide.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, such as your interactions with the AI coach, session counts (morning check-ins, evening reflections, coach chats), and progress tracking data (e.g., reflection, gratitude, small wins). This data helps us personalize your coaching experience and improve our AI models.
- Play Console Usage Information: If you are a developer using Google Play Console services, Google may collect information about your use of the Play Console, including page visits, data viewed, interactions with features, API usage, login emails, IP addresses, and timestamps. This data is associated with your developer account and may be shared with account administrators.
- Voice Data: If you use voice input features, your voice recordings may be processed to convert speech to text and to analyze speech patterns for coaching purposes. We do not store raw voice recordings unless explicitly consented to for specific features (e.g., voice analysis for fluency, clarity, pace).
- Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Analytics Data: We use analytics tools to understand user behavior and improve the App's performance. This data is typically aggregated and anonymized.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality, including personalized AI coaching.
- To track your progress and achievements within the App.
- To improve our AI models and coaching algorithms.
- To analyze usage trends and optimize user experience.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Data Retention
We retain your data for the following specific periods:
- User Profile Data: Retained until account deletion or as required by law (whichever is longer).
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized data retained for up to 2 years to improve our services.
- Chat History and Coaching Sessions: Retained for the duration of your account unless you choose to delete your account, after which it is permanently removed.
- Voice Data: Not stored unless explicitly consented to for specific features; temporary processing data is deleted immediately after use.
- Backup Data: Retained for up to 30 days after account deletion for recovery purposes, then permanently deleted.
Your Privacy Controls
You have control over your data:
- Access and Correction: You can access and update your profile information within the App's settings.
- Data Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data through the Profile settings. This action is irreversible and will remove all your personal information, coaching history, and preferences.
- Memory Feature: The App may include a "memory" feature that allows the AI coach to remember past conversations and preferences. You can manage this preference in your privacy settings.
- Data Export: You can export your coaching progress and insights in standard formats at any time.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States and other countries where Google and our service providers operate. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate safeguards, including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area.
- Google's compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework (where applicable).
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy and Developer Requirements
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information.
Developer Requirements: If you are a developer using Google Play Console services, you must be at least 18 years old and of legal age in your country to form a binding contract with Google. The Google Play Console Terms of Service require acceptance of both these terms and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

GOOGLE PLAY CONSOLE TERMS

You must accept both agreements to use the Play Console. These terms govern the collection and use of usage information related to your developer account and may be shared with account administrators.
